IDEA TO PRODUCT

Creating a custom garment for your event, to test a new idea, or for whatever project you’re working on shouldn’t be difficult. 

You come with the idea, we take care of the rest.

DIRECT TO GARMENT DIGITAL PRINT

Add a custom print to your garment. We use Kornit machines which are recognized for their high-quality output and sustainability performance. The inks we use are GOTS and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Maximum resolution is 800x600 and the maximum printable area is 60x90 cm.

FIT AS A SERVICE

Building on Son of a Tailor’s fit expertise, we offer you the option to grade the sizing according to your existing size chart. Because consistency is key. Don’t have a size chart? Simply go with our pre-engineered standard sizes.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS

Creating a custom garment for your event, to test a new idea, or for whatever project you’re working on shouldn’t be difficult. 

You come with the idea, we take care of the rest.

  • Our selection consists of high-quality T-Shirts, Hoodies, and Sweatshirts. Choose a color, add your print and neck label design. For sizing, use our pre-engineered standard sizes or go with fully custom sizes where you control every aspect of the fit.

  • To place an order, simply add your contact and shipping details and press “place order”. You don’t need to add your payment details at this step.

  • We will go through your order and check that all design file types are correct and properly formatted. If we have any questions we will reach out to you directly through your provided email.

  • Before starting the production of your order we will issue a payment request. Upon payment we will proceed with your order.

  • Your garments will be produced, printed, and packaged in our production located in Portugal.

  • Your garments are sent with a courier directly to your preferred shipping destination.

In Santo Tirso, Portugal, we found the renowned clothing manufacturer Leal & Sousa which we acquired in 2022. Founded and managed by Armindo Sousa, they have been making high-quality garments for over 30 years. Producing in Portugal also means that workers’ rights and environmental standards are guaranteed by EU law.

There are two options to order samples with us: You can either order a single sample for each of the four product types or order a sample kit with all four product types and color swatches.

    If you proceed and place an order of at least 50 pieces with us, we’ll refund the cost of the samples. Please contact us in case you have purchased a sample and would like to have the cost deducted from your order.

  • The minimum order quantity is 50 items per product type in a specific color. For example: 50 white T-Shirts.

  • The minimum order quantity applies to product type and color. You’re welcome to order a mix of different sizes. An example could be:

    • XS: 5

    • S: 6

    • M: 12

    • L: 12

    • XL: 10

    • XXL: 5

  • On top of the product, the price always includes custom neck labels, size labels, care labels, and bio bags. If you’d like to purchase any other add-ons (like hang tags), please get in touch.

  • 2-4 working days

  • 15 business days

  • All garments undergo quality control before they are packed and shipped.

  • All garments are produced in Portugal.

  • We pack in non-branded biobags and ship all products in a cardboard box.

  • We ship from Portugal.

  • We offer express shipping with 1-2 days shipping time (please note that this is excluding production time).

    Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

    For samples, shipping costs are a flat fee of €10.

    When you place your regular order, we calculate the shipping cost and get back to you with the total price before payment.
